Traditional Armenian coffee is brewed in a small pot called a Jazve and served in small cups. It is known for its rich and full-bodied flavor and is often enjoyed with sweets. The history of Armenian coffee began in the 16th century when Ethiopian merchants introduced this exotic beverage from the Arabian Peninsula to Armenia. Armenians quickly adopted coffee, preferring it to be black, strong, and aromatic. They also played a significant role in the coffee trade in Europe.
